Legal
Privacy policy.
How Dash Curve handles personal information, in plain English.
Before sharing access: never send passwords, one-time codes or recovery keys through the website form or ordinary email. Dash Curve will arrange an appropriate secure method if credentials are genuinely required for authorised work.
About this policy
This policy explains how Dash Curve Pty Ltd (ACN 613 192 153), trading as Dash Curve IT Solutions (“we”, “us”), handles personal information. We aim to follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and to treat information carefully and proportionately.
What we collect
We collect information needed to respond to enquiries and provide agreed services. This may include:
- contact details such as your name, business, email, phone number and service address;
- the details of an enquiry, support request or project;
- information about devices, accounts, networks and systems needed for authorised support;
- quotes, invoices, orders and payment records.
Do not send credentials through the website form or ordinary email. Where authorised access is necessary, we will arrange a more appropriate exchange method.
This website
We do not use advertising trackers. When the secure contact form is configured, the form submission is processed to deliver the enquiry and may use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated abuse. Cloudflare may process limited technical information for that security purpose.
Basic hosting logs may record technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time of access for security and reliability.
How we use information
- To respond to an enquiry and provide advice or a quote.
- To deliver, support and document services you have requested.
- To order hardware, software and licences on your behalf, and manage warranty claims.
- To invoice you and keep proper business records.
- To protect our systems and meet legal obligations.
We will not add you to a marketing list without permission.
Security and retention
We use measures appropriate to the information and service, which may include multi-factor authentication, encryption where available, restricted access and secure credential-management tools. Information is kept only as long as needed for the service, business records or legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will take steps to contain it and meet applicable notification obligations.
Access and correction
You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.
Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, contact us so we can investigate and respond. If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
